Chesapeake Bay Charter Fishing Report
Hello anglers and all sportsmen interested in taking a Chesapeake Bay charter fishing trip. We have a report for the past few weeks of Chesapeake bay fishing.
Although the summer is winding down the fishing could not be better. We are currently making good catches of bluefish and striper. You know how much fun a bluefish can be to catch and they have been providing some good action and plenty of excitement for our charter fishing trips throughout the Chesapeake Bay.
Striper action has been fair too with some success although you have to fight through the blues and spanish mackerel who also will fight for your bait. Casting metal jigs and spoons has been the favorite choice of lures and anglers will usually find one of this trio on the other end when cast into the melee of thrashing fish and diving birds.
For bottom fishing you can count on spot as a cooler full by days end is not uncommon. The latest blow has got the spot on the run and although the week was windy it should be calm by the weekend.
Big Rig Charters offers: Cheseapeake Bay charter fishing, Maryland Bay fishing, boat cruises, sea duck hunting, striper fishing, sightseeing cruises, sunset cruise, and more!
